New Music Alert: Don’t Miss Flora Fauna’s Upcoming Single “Lost In Space Again”

Bad Owl Records is about to release your new favorite alternative/indie track, Flora Fauna’s “Lost In Space Again.”

The follow up to her debut single, “Our Way Home” — which has seen success in ad campaigns, plus a popularity explosion following a re-worked version with German producer BUNT. — “Lost In Space Again” will drop March 4, 2022 and you won’t want to miss it.

With Flora Fauna’s hauntingly soulful vocals leading the charge, this Florence and the Machine-esque song meditates on transformation and change within our lives and relationships. With the weight of the forced life and relationship changes of the last few years, this message hits home as it encourages listeners to embrace these changes and use them to grow and learn more about themselves.

The Los Angeles native grew up surrounded by music, with a piano in her childhood home, and a voice reminiscent of Ellie Goulding, Flora Fauna’s Laura Baruch fell into music early on in life. Writing songs for longer than she can remember, Baruch looks to nature to inspire her music and it certainly seems to be working. Between her unique voice and lyrics sung straight from her heart, Baruch has created songs that transport the listener to a vibrant, yet calm place where they can simply be.

With the help of her husband and collaborator, Austrian multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Kastner, Baruch is currently working on a full length Flora Fauna album. However, the couple is also in the midst of putting the finishing touches on their indie pop sextet Karmic’s full length album, set to release this fall. So there may be a bit of a wait for Flora Fauna’s full album.

Be sure to mark your calendars to check out Flora Fauna’s stunning new single “Lost In Space Again” on March 4, which you can pre-save here, and in the meantime don’t forget to check out their debut song “Our Way Home”.
