Disney Parks Blog has announced the start date and details about the renovations which begin soon at Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland Park, California.

Mickey’s Toontown will be undergoing a transformation to bring new sounds, sensations and interactions to guests. A new attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, will also be added. This attraction has been open in Walt Disney World in Florida since March 2020 and has been a firm favorite of many guests.

Fans have been worried about the fate of some of their favorite attractions in Mickey’s Toontown but fear not! Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Mickey’s House and Minnie’s House will remain. Gadget’s Go Coaster, Goofy’s House and Donald’s Boat will all be reimagined in new and exciting ways.

If you want to visit Mickey’s Toontown in its current form, head over to Disneyland before March 9. Toontown will close March 9 and will reopen in its reimagined form in early 2023. We can’t wait to check it out!
