New ‘Ice Breaker’ Coaster Open at SeaWorld Orlando
A new coaster, Ice Breaker, has now opened at SeaWorld Orlando. It was named by USA Today as one of the most anticipated coasters of 2022.
The coaster opened February 18 with an ice ribbon cutting ceremony and is now welcoming guests onboard. It is SeaWorld Orlando’s first launch coaster and has four launches – both backwards and forwards. It also features the steepest beyond-vertical drop in Florida with its 93 feet tall spike and 100-degree angle.
On opening day, Park President Kyle Miller said: “Our Annual Pass Members had an exclusive opportunity to preview the ride prior to opening and the feedback is fantastic! Ice Breaker is a one-of-a-kind thrill ride which complements our existing exhilarating ride portfolio perfectly. With the opening of Ice Breaker, SeaWorld features the most coasters in a single theme park in Orlando and we are excited to introduce the rest of our guests to this highly anticipated coaster today.”
