‘Oppenheimer’: Jack Quaid Joins the Cast of Christopher Nolan’s Upcoming Film
Jack Quaid has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Oppenheimer.
Oppenheimer is a World War II era biopic that will follow J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb. The film is currently set to release July 21, 2023, roughly two weeks before the anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.
Nolan’s Oppenheimer stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer. In addition to Quaid, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and Benny Safdie are all confirmed for the cast. In addition to directing, Nolan will also produce alongside Emma Thomas and Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven. The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin, though Nolan also penned the script.
Quaid can currently be seen in 2022’s Scream, which is running exclusively in theaters. He will also be reprising his role in Prime’s Emmy nominated The Boys series, which will run for its third season this year.
