‘All American’: JoJo Joins Cast in Recurring Role

The CW

The CW’s All American is expanding its cast to include a superstar singer! JoJo, known for early 2000s hits such as “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late” and recent hits like “Mad Love” and “Worst (I Assume)” has joined in a recurring role for the current fourth season!

According to Deadline, JoJo will portray Sabine, a famous recording artist who has been making music since she was 10. She decides to collaborate with Greta Onieogou’s Layla for her next album so she can have a new sound. Sabine knows what she wants and with a name and reputation like hers, can make anything happen. The role is somewhat similar to the singer’s real life, as JoJo’s music career peaked when she was just 13 years old.

JoJo will first appear in next week’s midseason premiere, and you can see a still of her appearance released by The CW below! Currently there is no word on how many episodes she’ll be in, but hopefully it will be a decent amount.
