Over the past few months, Kung Fu fans have received tidbits about the show’s upcoming sophomore season, premiering on March 9. More content has just been dropped into our laps in the form of a trailer for season 2! You can check out the Kung Fu season 2 trailer, exclusively released by ET, below.
The video is jam-packed with action sequences giving audiences a glimpse of what Nicky and the rest of the crew will be up to: taking down Kerwin Tan. We also get our first glimpse at Vanessa Yao as Mia, Mei-Xue’s daughter and the Shen siblings’ cousin — but it’s no warm and fuzzy meeting as the two exchange blows. As hinted at the end of last season, it seems that Russell Tan and Mia’s stories will be intertwined this season as the elder Tan searches for another way to rise to power.
There is still a lot up in the air concerning what’s going on with Nicky, the situation with Biange, and how the villains of season 1 will be dealt with. Luckily, this trailer seems to promise an exciting season in which our questions will be answered. Kung Fu returns to The CW on March 9 in the same timeslot as last year. Keep an eye out for more content coming your way soon and makes sure to check out the Kung Fu season 2 trailer above.
You can catch Kung Fu on Wednesday nights in its new time slot at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on The CW. As always, make sure to stay up to date with all of our coverage here, and stay tuned for more updates!
