Sony Confirms Three More MCU Spider-Man Films With Tom Holland
The night after movie ticket Spider-geddon, good news has arrived for Spider-Man fans. Sony and Marvel are planning three more Tom Holland-led Spider-Man films.
No Way Home producer Amy Pascal revealed in an interview with Fandango that three more Spidey films are in the works with Marvel.
“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” Pascal revealed. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to introduce the Multiverse to the MCU films in a big way, with villains from past Spidey iterations making a comeback in the upcoming conclusion to Holland’s first trilogy. Holland will be the second Marvel hero to exceed a solo trilogy, joining Chris Hemsworth who will return as Thor for a fourth film, Thor: Love and Thunder, on July 8, 2022.
