Full Trailer For Netflix’s ‘Don’t Look Up’ Highlights a Fictional (For Now) Catastrophe

It’l the end of times to end out the year. The full trailer for Adam McKay’s upcoming Netflix dark comedy Don’t Look Up has released!

“Based on real events that haven’t happened yet.” While that may be a joke, it probably isn’t. As more anti-science rhetoric fills the news and social media, McKay and his star-studded cast are ready to turn a mirror on society’s growing lack of faith in cold hard facts.

A “planet killer” comet is headed straight for Earth and Dr. Randall Mindy (DiCaprio) and new grad student Kate Dibiasky (Lawrence) are doing whatever they can to get the news out. But no one is listening. Especially not the very MAGA-esque President Orlean (Streep) and her son/Chief of Staff Jason who wants to just sit back and assess. So, they make the decision to just leak the information.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Mark Rylance, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Himesh Patel, Melanie Lynskey, Michael Chiklis, and Tomer Sisley. Captain America star Chris Evans is also confirmed to have a cameo!

Don’t Look Up will premiere in select theaters on December 10 and on Netflix on December 24. Stay tuned for our review of the film!
