‘Spirited’: Ryan Reynolds Shares Behind-the-Scenes Photos as Filming Wraps

Filming for the upcoming AppleTV+ movie Spirited, starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, has wrapped, according to Reynolds. To celebrate the end to filming with one of his comedy stars, Reynolds shared some behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram.

Spirited is a modern retelling of the classic literary work A Christmas Carol, which was written by Charles Dickens in 1843. This retelling coming from Apple is directed by Sean Anders and John Morris, with the pair also writing the film.

Spirited will star Reynolds as the crotchety character Ebenezer Scrooge and Ferrell as a version of the Ghost of Christmas Present. Also in the cast are Octavia Spencer as a coworker of Scrooge and Sunita Mani (GLOW) as this movie’s version of the Ghost of Christmas Past.
