The first teaser clip of Ava DuVernay’s upcoming Naomi is here! During DC FanDome, fans saw a first look at what to expect from The CW show. It shows Naomi rushing out of school after receiving a news alert. But it doesn’t go quite as expected.

Naomi follows its title character, Naomi McDuffie, a teenager who ventures from her small town to the expanse of the multiverse. When a supernatural event rocks her town, Naomi sets out to discover its origins. What she finds will challenge our idea of superheroes as we know them.
The series is based on the limited comic series by Brian Michael Bendis, Jamal Campbell, and David F. Walker. It stars Kaci Walfall as Naomi, Cranston Johnson, Alexander Wraith, Camila Moreno, Mouzam Makkar, Barry Watson, Daniel Puig, Aidan Gemme, and Mary-Charles Jones. Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship executive produce alongside Sarah Bremner and Paul Garnes.
