The trailer for South of Heaven from RLJE Films starring Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso) and Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man and the Wasp) has been released.

The film, directed and written by Aharon Keshales with Kai Mark and Navot Papushado co-writing, follows Jimmy (Sudeikis) after he’s let out on early parole to spend time with the childhood love of his life, Annie (Lilly), after a terminal cancer diagnosis. He vows to give her the best last year of her life, but things just can’t be that simple …

Sudeikis, best known for his comedy skills and hit Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, is taking a darker turn in this crime thriller. Things are bound to get messy as Jimmy tries to find a way out of his crime-ridden past. Mike Colter and Shea Whigham also star.
