Olivia Rodrigo has released the latest music video from her album Sour! “Brutal” is directed by Petra Collins, who also directed Rodrigo’s video “Good 4 U” earlier this year. “Brutal” serves as a video game inspired tribute to the early 2000s with facial mask technology developed by Apple.
“Brutal” quickly became a breakout hit after the release of Sour. It went viral on TikTok almost immediately, inspiring thousands of fans to join in the chorus complaining, “God, it’s brutal out here.” You can check out the new video below!
