The Crown‘s success has only continued to build after its fourth season, which saw the last of Olivia Colman closing out the role of Queen Elizabeth II for the show’s second era. As season 5 approaches, the last cast transition will occur for the show’s third and final era. As such, the first look at Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II has been revealed. Check it out below!

The Crown, which has already begun filming its fifth season, is currently nominated for a slew of Emmys, the latest step in this season’s award show success. Other known casting choices include Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, and Dominic West as Prince Charles.
