God save the Queen!

The casting decisions for the final two seasons of The Crown are slowly being released, and we have yet another confirmed role in the royal drama we love so much. As we recently reported, Jonathan Pryce is set to play Prince Philip in the final era. We now know that Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana in the final two seasons of The Crown.

The Australian actress has been in several productions but is perhaps most well known for her role as Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby – for which she won an AACTA Award. With Imelda Staunton cast to play the Queen, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, and Lesley Manville playing play Princess Margaret, the third and final “era” is shaping up to be quite the star-studded cast.

While we won’t be seeing them for another season, as season 4 is set to be released later this winter, we can’t wait to see how the third and final cast of The Crown closes this beloved production. Stay tuned for more updates.
