Nerds and Beyond recently had the pleasure of chatting with writer/director Edson Oda and actor Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange, Raya and the Last Dragon) to celebrate the release of their cerebral and magical new film Nine Days. We spoke about Oda’s uncle – his deeply personal inspiration for the film and the ways in which Wong tried to find moments of joy and humor while shooting such an emotionally heavy film.

Warning: Interview contains mild spoilers and discussion about mental health topics like depression and suicide.
