Jason Manns and Paul Carella Return to Germany for Live Shows

Share:

Jason Manns and Paul Carella returned to Germany last week to play their first set of live shows since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down life as we knew it.

The duo played shows in Bad Vilbel and Frankfurt, and even treated fans who couldn’t make it to a StageIt show.

Jason Manns told Nerds and Beyond about the shows, saying that “It feels amazing to be back on stage. I was thankful to play online shows and stay connected with everyone in that way, but there’s something special about seeing smiling faces in the crowd!”

Paul Carella also added that “It felt so good to see people and to hear their applause instead of reading ‘clap, clap, clap’ on a screen, haha,  which is always great and I love it but it doesn’t compare to that buzz you get from hearing it live after you play one of your songs. There were still restrictions in place, no dancing, mainly seated, etc. but it was exciting to see the fans tapping their feet, coming up with their own seated dance moves, singing along, and just enjoying themselves. They certainly made spending time in quarantine worth it. It felt great to be back, to see the Rockwood crew, and to see and play with one of my best friends again. I hope it’s a sign of things to come and we can get back to playing live more often!”
