It seems like it’s been forever since 9-1-1 has graced our screens, but it hasn’t even been two months since that roller coaster of a season finale. However, the 118 will be returning in the fall, and a new crisis is canvassing Los Angeles in a brand new teaser for season 5!

The 118 has dealt with earthquakes, tsunamis, and mudslides to kick off their seasons, and the upcoming one will start with a citywide blackout. While this can’t really be too ideal for Angelinos and the first responders, it is definitely a different way to start a season, considering the previous three included a multitude of chaos. But who’s to say this won’t be up on that list?

Currently, there is no premiere date for season 5 of 9-1-1, but it will be in the fall, staying on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. How will the 118 deal with the blackout? Any lingering feelings from the season 4 finale? Watch season 5 of the first responder drama this fall only on Fox. Catch up on the first four seasons now on Hulu!
