The former CBS and now Paramount+ series, EVIL, is not going away anytime soon, as the show has been renewed for a third season.
Starring Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp, EVIL is a psychological mystery that takes an in-depth look at the origins of evil along the lines of science and religion. Focusing on the work of a skeptical female psychologist, a priest in training, and a contractor, the show follows the trio as they investigate the church’s unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and hauntings, with the goal of determining if the events are truly supernatural or not.
EVIL‘s second season is currently underway, with the first three episodes currently available on Paramount+, and the evil they investigate is closer to home than before. New episodes are available every Sunday, for the duration of the 13-episode season.
This marks the second time EVIL has seen an early renewal pickup, as season two was also announced less than a month into season one’s run. The viewership has been increasing week to week from season one so far, so if you are a fan of EVIL, you are in luck, because it doesn’t look like the show will be going anywhere anytime soon.
