Jeffrey Dean Morgan Picks Up HCA TV Award Nomination for ‘The Walking Dead’

Nominations for the inaugural Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards are here! Jeffrey Dean Morgan walked away with a nomination for his performance as Negan in The Walking Dead. Morgan is up for a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Drama category.

The 11th and final season of The Walking Dead will begin airing on August 22 where Morgan will wrap up his performance as the big bad after five seasons on the show. Most recently, AMC aired a series of special episodes that included a Negan centric one. Fans were able to learn more about the character’s backstory, how Negan came to be, and how it all started with his wife Lucille’s death.

On August 22, a ceremony will take place at Avalon Hollywood where the trophies will be presented.
