‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ Lands Six HCA TV Awards Nominations

The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) TV Awards are fast approaching, and the official list of nominees has finally been revealed! The award ceremony will pay tribute to the best of television, and it will also be the first of its kind to separate broadcast/cable programming from streaming service programs.

NBC’s comedy series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist has received a total of six nominations celebrating the cast and crew’s astounding work on the truly unique show. Though the series was cancelled this year following it’s second season, these nominations are a testament to how special the series was. The nominations include:

Best Broadcast Network Series, Comedy

Best Actress in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy – Jane Levy

Best Supporting Actor in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy – Alex Newell

Best Supporting Actor in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy – John Clarence Stewart

Best Supporting Actor in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy – Skylar Astin

Best Supporting Actress in a Broadcast Network or Cable Series, Comedy – Mary Steenburgen

The HCA TV Awards will take place in person on Sunday, August 22 in Los Angeles, California at the Avalon Hollywood. Meanwhile, the next HCA Film Awards ceremony is due to take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022. You can watch both season of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist now on Hulu.
