‘Superman & Lois’ Receives HCA TV Award Nomination
Today the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) announced nominees for their inaugural TV Awards! Among them, Superman & Lois picked up a nomination for Best Broadcast Network Series, Drama.
Currently in the middle of airing its first season on The CW, Superman & Lois follows Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch), as well as their twin sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alex Garfin), as they make the move to Smallville. The parents try to shield and protect them from the truths that lie ahead, but eventually, they realize they can’t. That’s when everything around them begins to unfold.
Wolé Parks, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Adam Rayner, Stacey Farber, Sofia Hasmik, and Dylan Walsh also star.
When the series premiered on the network, it had the largest primetime response in the 8 p.m. slot on The CW in two years. Additionally, it saw the largest day-one streaming audience for a new series in the history of the network.
On August 22, a ceremony will take place at Avalon Hollywood where the trophies will be presented.
