Daisy Edgar-Jones and Andrew Garfield Will Lead ‘Under the Banner of Heaven’ for FX on Hulu

Daisy Edgar-Jones and Andrew Garfield are set to lead a new FX on Hulu series based on the bestselling true crime book Under the Banner of Heaven. Written by Jon Krakauer (Into the Wild), Under the Banner of Heaven follows a detective as he investigates the murder of a woman in a devout Mormon town. Garfield will play a Church elder who becomes disillusioned with his church’s teachings as he gets closer to the potential murderer while Edgar-Jones will play Brenda, the victim.

There is no word yet on a release date for the series. Dustin Lance Black (Big Love, Milk) will produce the series after having pushed for a film version for several years.
