Rachel Zegler has officially become a Disney princess! The actress best known for her breakthrough role in West Side Story will play Snow White in a new adaptation of the classic Disney film. The new Snow White is expected to begin filming next year and will be directed by Marc Webb. Zegler shared her excitement at the news on her Twitter, where she previously teased a potential princess collaboration yesterday.
Zegler will next be seen in West Side Story this December, and she is currently filming a secret role in the sequel to Shazam!. She also recently released her first single “Let Me Try.” There is no word yet on when the new Snow White film will hit theaters.
