EMS 126 is staying together, even if there may not be a 126 anymore. As FOX’s first responder drama 9-1-1: Lone Star ended its second season, news about season 3 is already being released. The first being that Brianna Baker, who plays Paramedic Nancy Gillian, has been upped to series regular for the upcoming season.

According to Deadline, Baker will be upped to series regular from her current status of recurring guest star for the upcoming third season of the FOX series. While she wasn’t seen too much in the first season, following the death of her paramedic partner, Tim, early on in season 2, Nancy started getting more screen time, and Baker showed off her emotional side in several episodes. And with Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega (Gina Torres) as her mentor and boss, Nancy has been able to grow as a paramedic and overall person.

Season 2 started seeing a lot more of Nancy, especially after T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein) switched from being a firefighter to paramedic, and she’s been hanging out with the rest of the 126. With Tommy sticking to her job as well, there’s no doubt that the paramedic trio will be something to look forward to next season. Though with how the season 2 finale ended, it raises the question of just what will happen to EMS 126? They’ve been held hostage together, can it really get worse than that?

Season 3 of 9-1-1: Lone Star premieres midseason 2022 on FOX. Stream the first two seasons now on Hulu.
