On a weekly basis, columnist and red carpet correspondent Marc Malkin invites some of today’s biggest stars to join him on his podcast Just for Variety with Marc Malkin to talk film, television, pop culture, and the latest news.

This week’s guest is none other than James “Bucky” Barnes himself — Sebastian Stan!

“Sebastian Stan reveals some of his on-set — and off-set! — injuries, recalls the day he was offered to join the MCU and what it’s like transforming into Tommy Lee for the upcoming Hulu series about the rocker and Pamela Anderson.”

Stan recently reprised his iconic Marvel Cinematic Universe role in the epic, action-packed Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Starring alongside Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, the two embarked on a six-episode global adventure full of familiar faces, new adversaries, and high-flying missions. Catch up on our extended coverage of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier here, including our review of eight things that the show set up for the future of the MCU!

Next, Stan will be stepping into the shoes of Tommy Lee for Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, a limited series that will take a look at the whirlwind relationship of Lee and Pamela Anderson. Fans were blown away by the first look photos that were recently revealed, in which he and co-star Lily James look almost unrecognizable.

For those that missed out, Stan’s latest film Monday — a romantic drama from Rob Hayes and Argyris Papadimitropoulos — premiered just over a month ago (check out our review!)
