The next installment in the Saw franchise, Spiral: From the Book of Saw, is fast approaching, and Collider has our next look at the movie!
The latest clip shows a tense argument between Detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock) and Captain Angie Garza (Marisol Nichols). She introduces Detective Banks to his new partner William Schenk (Max Minghella), who will be helping Det. Banks on the movie’s central case.
The Spiral content doesn’t stop there, though. A new IMAX poster for the movie was also released, which you can find below.
The movie’s official Twitter account also announced that they will be hosting a multi-day Saw watch party of every released movie in the franchise. The marathon will run from May 7-12, and viewers can live-tweet along with the account and other, yet-to-be-announced guests. Find more info on that here.
Spiral: From the Book of Saw follows Detective Zeke Banks as he, his partner William, and esteemed police veteran Marcus team up to track a serial killer terrorizing the city, echoing its gruesome past. Soon, Zeke finds himself caught in the middle of the killer’s twisted game. Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Samuel L. Jackson, and Marisol Nichols star. The movie was written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman.
Spiral: From the Book of Saw releases in theaters on May 14.
