The movie industry is about to get a whole lot hotter. The upcoming biopic about the inventor behind Flamin’ Hot Cheetos has cast Jesse Garcia and Annie Gonzalez as its two co-leads.

Garcia (Sons of Anarchy) will play the Frito Lay janitor Richard Montañez who becomes the inventor of the incredibly popular snack, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Gonzalez (Gentefied) has been cast as Montanez’s wife Judy.

Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) is set to direct the biopic, and Linda Yvette Chávez (Gentefied) will help revise the script. This will be Longoria’s feature film debut as a director. Chávez adapted the screenplay for I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter.

The film will tell the story of Montañez and the journey he takes to bring his culture to help save Frito Lay. As the company continues to struggle, he comes up with the idea to introduce a new ingredient to Cheetos to create one of the biggest snacks in recent history.

Filming is set to begin this summer in Mexico.
