The First Teaser for the ‘Dexter’ Revival Is Here!
At long, long last, Dexter is returning to our TV screens in a 10-episode limited run, and Showtime has released the first official teaser!
With Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” as a backing track, the teaser gives viewers a glimpse of the wintry setting and the return of Dexter Morgan. Watch it below!
The original eight season run of the series followed Dexter Morgan, a blood splatter analyst for Miami Metro homicide who moonlighted as a serial killer (who only killed bad guys). The eighth season saw Dexter fake his death and retreat to the woods where he became a lumberjack.
The upcoming revival will bring viewers to the town of Iron Lake in upstate New York, which is where Dexter is now residing. Story-wise, there’s still not much info on what exactly the new season will follow. However, with much of the new cast taking on roles of characters affiliated with Iron Lake PD, Dexter may not have abandoned his ways.
