In celebration of the epic finale of Marvel’s hit series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Funko has opened up pre-orders for the latest figure to be announced in Marvel’s special Year of the Shield lineup — Sam Wilson as Captain America!

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier sees the return of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes. Taking place in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, in which Steve Rogers passed on his vibranium shield to Sam, the series follows his journey to wielding the shield. Beyond the straightforward responsibility of donning the stars and stripes, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier explicitly explores exactly what it means for a Black man to become Captain America.

The sixth episode, “One World, One People,” revealed Sam’s brand-new Captain America suit and wings, courtesy of Wakanda, which are reminiscent of his outfit from the comics. After giving viewers a chance to catch up over the weekend, Marvel Studios has now begun rolling out all of its latest Sam Wilson as Captain America merchandise today.

The Year of the Shield 8-part collectible series is exclusive to Amazon, and its meant to celebrate heroes who wield shields to protect the innocent from villains whether they appear in the Marvel comics, movies, or both.

Pre-order your Year of the Shield Sam Wilson Funko Pop! figure now before it sells out! And afterward, make sure to catch up on all of our latest coverage on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
