‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Finale Confirms the Identity of the Power Broker & Their New Ploy in the Post-Credits Scene

The finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier confirmed the identity of the Power Broker — Sharon Carter.

After weeks of speculation of her allegiances Sharon Carter, has been outed as the insidious Power Broker. However, nothing of her intentions in the role were revealed, beyond making some money.

In the final moments of the Flag Smashers attempted siege on the GRC vote Sharon Carter confronts Karli in the parking garage where Karli outs her as the mastermind behind the Super Soldier serum replica. Sharon ends up killing Karli in the long run, and perhaps that was more to protect her own identity to Bucky and Sam rather than the world.

Sam ends up keeping his promise to Sharon, getting her the pardon he promised in episode 3 back in Madripoor, but the post-credits scene unveil that Sharon isn’t done with her sinister ways. She’s been granted a full pardon and her old position back in the CIA, and she’s going to use it to leverage weapons sales and government secrets to her potential buyers that were after the serum.

This seemingly is opening the door for a season 2 of what we can assume would be “Captain America and The Winter Soldier” after that credits title card reveal, where Sam and Bucky have to deal with the repercussions of letting Sharon go.
