A Legacy Remembered: Netflix Releases Official Trailer for ‘Chadwick Boseman: Portrait of an Artist’

Nearly one year ago in August 2020, the world got a little bit dimmer when beloved actor Chadwick Boseman passed away. Though he may not be with us physically anymore, the legacy he’s left behind continues to live on, and Netflix is bringing viewers a closer look at Boseman’s artistry as an actor in Chadwick Boseman: Portait of an Artist.

The upcoming film explores Boseman’s commitment to his craft, providing a deeper, intimate look on how he approached acting as a whole and what his process was that aided him in transforming for each of his roles with such skill and care. People such as Viola Davis, Denzel Washington, Phylicia Rashad, Spike Lee and more will provide commentary.

Chadwick Boseman: Portrait of an Artist premieres on Netflix on April 17. Watch the trailer below.
