FANDOM'Star Trek: Lower Decks' Season 2 Premiere Date Revealed in New Teaser

During First Contact Day, tons of exciting news was revealed, including the season 2 premiere date for Star Trek’s animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks. Season 2 will premiere on Paramount+ August 12, as revealed in the teaser for the season.

The series was developed by Mike McMahan (Rick and MortySolar Opposites) and follows the support crew aboard Starfleet’s U.S.S. Cerritos in 2380. Ensigns Boimler (Jack Quaid), Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), and Tendi (Nöel Wells) have to keep up their duties on the ship as well as their social lives while the ship is being rocked by different sci-fi anomalies.

Mariner, Rutherford, and Tendi look to still be causing usual chaos, but missing from the group is Boimler who we last saw get stationed on the Titan with Captain Riker.
