The wait between the winter finale and the spring premiere has been a long one for fans of Prodigal Son, but it’s finally coming to a close with little more than a week left until the series returns to round out season 2. Episode 8, “Ouroboros,” will see a fuller introduction to Alan Cumming’s character Simon Hoxley as he narrows in on the Whitlys while investigating the mysterious death of Nicholas Endicott.

When world-famous Europol profiler Simon Hoxley (guest star Alan Cumming) shows up in New York and claims that Major Crimes’ current case is connected to the discovery of Endicott’s body overseas, Bright fears he and Ainsley’s secret is about to be exposed. Meanwhile, Martin gets to know Dr. Vivian Capshaw.

The new images for the episode show us a glimpse of Hoxley at work as he interrogates each member of the Whitly family, though noticeably there’s no shots of him talking to our actual culprit, Ainsley. Check out the images below!

“Ouroboros” airs Tuesday, April 13 on FOX at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
