We’re in the final stretch. In just a few short days, the highly anticipated Marvel series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere on Disney+.
Ahead of its release, a special virtual launch event has been announced, and it will take place on Thursday, March 18 at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST. Cast members from the series will be in attendance for the event, and fans can tune in on Twitter to watch.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier picks up in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, following Steve Rogers’ decision to pass on Captain America’s shield to Sam Wilson. Anthony Mackie will reprise his role as the Falcon, while Sebastian Stan will return as Bucky Barnes. The two are set to team up on a global adventure that will test their skills and their patience with one another. Sam and Bucky’s snarky relationship from the previous films will carry over into this series, giving it a buddy comedy action movie feel.
Other familiar faces will include Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, and Georges St-Pierre as Batroc the Leaper. Meanwhile, Wyatt Russell is set to portray John Walker/U.S. Agent and Adepero Oduye will appear as Sam’s sister Sarah.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere exclusively on Disney+ this Friday, March 19.
