A new description has been released by The CW for the 10th episode of Riverdale‘s fifth season, “Chapter Eighty-Six: The Pincushion Man,” and it’s parent-teacher night at Riverdale High! As Archie’s former Army General shows up in town, Hiram and Reggie take interest in taking over the Blossom maple groves. Tabitha is concerned over Jughead’s idea to get through writer’s block, and Betty and Alice receive some unexpected visitors.

The official description for “Chapter Eighty-Six: The Pincushion Man” reads:

PARENT-TEACHER NIGHT — While preparing for the school’s Parent-Teacher night, Archie (KJ Apa) is caught off guard when his former Army General shows up in Riverdale with some unexpected news. Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) pushes back after hearing that Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and Reggie (Charles Melton) have expressed interest in taking over the Blossom maple groves. Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) unconventional way to get through a case of writer’s block causes Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) to be concerned for his safety. Finally, Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Alice (Mädchen Amick) receive some unexpected visitors. Camila Mendes and Casey Cott also star. Gabriel Correa directed the episode written by Chrissy Maroon (#510). Original airdate 3/31/2021.

“Chapter Eighty-Six: The Pincushion Man” will also be the final episode of Riverdale to air before the series takes a hiatus as the new The CW series Kung Fu will take over its timeslot starting the following week. The series will then return on July 7 to finish off the season.

Catch “Chapter Eighty-Six: The Pincushion Man” on Wednesday, March 31 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on The CW, streaming free the next day on The CW app!
