The pandemic has presented a unique challenge for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, limiting people’s ability to read lips. This has made the use of transparent masks invaluable in aiding communication of the Deaf community during the pandemic. As such, Shoshannah Stern has released a line of transparent masks through Stands in order to promote accessibility while helping limit the transmission of the coronavirus.
