Monster High has returned from the dead to live on once more! Nickelodeon and Mattel are teaming up to produce a live-action television movie and an animated series.

Clawdeen, Draculaura, and Frankie Stein will return to Monster High as well as a variety of other monster students. The animated series will be produced by writer Shea Fontana (Doc McStuffins). She will be joined by Claudia Spinelli from Nickelodeon and the duo Adam Bonnett and Christopher Keenan from Mattel to help bring the show back to life.

Also in production is a live-action television musical based on the toy line and television show. Jenny Jaffe (Rugrats reboot), Greg Erb (Playmobil: The Movie), and Jason Oremland (The Princess and the Frog) will all write the script for the movie.

Both the television show and the movie are expected to premiere in 2022.
