Jordan Peele’s ‘The Twilight Zone’ Will Not Return for Another Season

The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively revealed that Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone will not return for a third season. The cancellation comes as part of CBS All Access’ upcoming rebranding as Paramount+.

During the recent investors presentation for Paramount+, in which ViacomCBS executives unveiled several new projects for the streaming platform, The Twilight Zone was not included as part of the new Paramount+ lineup. However, the show will still remain available on the platform.

The Twilight Zone is a modern-day reimagining of the classic Rod Serling series that aired from 1959-1964. Peele’s reimagining is also an episodic anthology, with Peele stepping into Serling’s shoes as the show’s host and narrator. It put a modern twist on iconic episodes while also bringing a variety of wholly original content.

Peele’s version of The Twilight Zone premiered in 2019 and ran for two seasons. It was developed by Peele, Simon Kinberg, and Marco Ramirez.

The Twilight Zone is available to stream on CBS All Access until March 3, where it will then transition to the new Paramount+ platform on March 4.
