CBS has released another trailer for its much anticipated sequel series to The Silence of the Lambs, Clarice, ahead of its premiere on Thursday.

CBS released the first trailer in early December alongside the official February 11 premiere date. This new trailer is different in that it focuses on ties to The Silence of the Lambs, highlighting FBI Special Agent Clarice Starling’s motivations via a moving monologue.

“The lambs were screaming. I tried to free them. I thought if I could save just one… but he was so heavy. I couldn’t save the lamb. But I will never stop trying.”

The trailer then closes with a title card stating: “The Silence Is Over,” reminding viewers that this series will follow Clarice as she returns to the field following the events of The Silence of the Lambs. As the first onscreen version of this character in 30 years, this continuation will expand on the character of Clarice Starling in ways that have not been seen before.

With an all star cast including Rebecca Breeds (The Originals), Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead), and Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar) among others, this show looks to be an interesting view of a familiar character presented in a new light. So be ready to tune into CBS on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. C.
