We have great news for Walt Disney World fans! Disney Parks Blog has announced that Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach will be reopening March 7.

The water park has been closed since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020. While the main four theme parks reopened in July 2020, the water parks remained closed. There is currently no news on when Walt Disney World’s other water park, Typhoon Lagoon, will reopen.

Blizzard Beach will be reopening with enhanced health and safety protocols including reduced capacity, temperature screenings, face coverings, and physical distancing. Park reservations will not be needed to visit the water park. For more information on the health and safety protocols that will be in place, visit the Walt Disney World website.

Tickets are currently available to purchase for Blizzard Beach. Make sure you get yours at the Walt Disney World website.
