So with but a month to go until the most festive time of the year, we’ve put together a gift guide of some of the various MCR items you can find online right now!
Check out our recommendations below.
Gerard Way Party Poison Funko Pop!
Though the Revenge-era and The Black Parade-era Funko Pop! toys can be more difficult to come by, Funko released a brand new addition to their Gerard Way Pop! lineup this year, a Danger Days-era Party Poison figure. Look alive, sunshine, and relive the glory days of the Fabulous Killjoys.
Urban Outfitters Exclusive Vinyl
Urban Outfitters recently released exclusive new vinyl pressings of three My Chemical Romance studio albums: Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, The Black Parade, and Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Though Three Cheers is now sold out, you can still order The Black Parade 2XLP on smokey clear vinyl and Danger Days on purple velvet vinyl. You can also pick up standard black vinyl reissues of Three Cheers and I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love from the official MCR webstore.
Don’t Forget to Mask Up!
And die with your mask on if you’ve got to …
10 out of 10 Killjoys would agree that no mask collection is complete without a My Chemical Romance one.
Stay Warm … in Style
You can never have too many hoodies, right? This Hot Topic hoodie, which comes in junior sizes with a unisex fit, features a fittingly ominous design.
The Black Parade Puzzle
2020 is truly the time of returning to humble activities from home … like building puzzles. Fans of My Chemical Romance can pass the time and share their love for one of the best records of all time with this puzzle featuring the cast of The Black Parade.
The True Lives of My Chemical Romance
Not the Life It Seems: The True Lives of My Chemical Romance is a must-read for any My Chemical Romance fan. Author Tom Bryant, who had unparalleled access to the band throughout the years, covers the band all the way from its inception, leading to their first album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, up through their final bow with the Conventional Weapons collection and Danger Days, leading to their eventual split in 2013. This behind-the-scenes book weaves a compelling story through Bryant’s interviews with the band and commentary from their friends and associates.
Patch and Pin Sets
Though the tragically underrated Bullets-era is nowhere to be seen, spice up a denim jacket or a backpack with these patch and pin sets inspired by Revenge, The Black Parade, and Danger Days! Check out all of the sets currently available from the official My Chemical Romance webstore.
The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys: California Library Edition
Danger Days was a fascinating album with an underlying story and visuals set in a post-apocalyptic California, following the adventures of the Killjoys — Party Poison, Fun Ghoul, Jet Star, and Kobra Kid. In 2013, Gerard Way and Shaun Simon, along with artist Becky Cloonan, returned to the world of Danger Days with a six-part comic series following the mysterious Girl years after the deaths of her friends, the Fabulous Four. This year, a beautiful hardcover version — the California Library Edition — was released. In addition to compiling issues #1-6 of The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, this edition also includes the short story Dead Satellites and an expanded sketchbook section.
Alternative Press Collections
Alternative Press, an American music magazine that has covered the band extensively over the years, has a variety of My Chemical Romance collections currently available in their webstore. Featured above is the Chemical Peel Collection (which includes two Return-era posters, a lanyard, and two versions of the MCR Holy Book — AP Issue 382) and the Duo Collection (which includes a limited edition online-only cover for AP Issue 386 and the Alternative Press MCR Collector’s Edition book).
Return Tour Tickets

Finally, last but not least, is the gift of all gifts — tickets to see My Chemical Romance on their (rescheduled) Return tour in 2021. The tour was originally slated for this year, and there was a mad dash of excitement (and subsequent disappointment for many fans) when tickets went on sale (and sold out very quickly.) However, at this time, tickets for many of the rescheduled tour dates can be obtained through Ticketmaster. Nothing says “Merry Christmas” quite like “You’re going to see My Chemical Romance next year.”
