Today fans got to see three new posters for the upcoming sci-fi film Chaos Walking that stars Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland.
Holland is Todd Hewitt, and he has never seen a woman. He was told they were wiped out. All those living on the planet called New World were told that women had been wiped out because of a deadly pathogen called Noise. When Todd meets Viola, Ridley’s character, who is not affected by the Noise, they go on a journey to finding the truths about their home.
The movie is based on the Chaos Walking trilogy of books written by Patrick Ness — The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and Answer, and Monsters of Men. The characters have the same name as those in the movie, but it appears that they are older than their counterparts in the novels. Where the movie is based on the first book, there could be a possibility of seeing the others turned into movies as well. As a fan of the novels, I am looking forward to seeing what other similarities carry over from the page to the screen.
