Crispin Glover, Ronen Rubinstein, and Mia Serafino to Participate in Virtual ‘Smiley Face Killers’ Premiere Event
Halloween is about to get scarier. Florida-based genre film festival Popcorn Frights will be holding the world premiere of the new horror movie, Smiley Face Killers, starring Crispin Glover and 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s Ronen Rubinstein on October 29. The event is only limited to those in the United States but the film will be available worldwide on December 8.
After the film’s premiere, Glover, Rubinstein, and Mia Serafino will partake in a special Q&A which will be posted on YouTube once the virtual event is finished. The virtual world premiere will be available to stream for 72 hours, from October 29-November 1. Tickets are available now for just $9.
Smiley Face Killers, written and produced by Bret Easton Ellis, follows Jake Graham (Rubinstein) as he struggles to keep his life together at school following a strange wave of mysterious drownings of male college students along the California coast. After finding himself stalked by a hooded figure (Glover) driving an unmarked van, Jake fears he may become the killer’s next victim. Along with Serafino, the film also stars Amadeus Serafini, Garrett Coffey, Ashley Rickards, and Cody Simpson.
