Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Tenet, The King’s Man) has boarded the David Leitch directed Bullet Train at Sony. Taylor-Johnson joins Brad Pitt and Joey King in the action film, and although plot details at this time are vague, Deadline first reported that the film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka.

The synopsis of the book follows five assassins who “find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”

Taylor-Johnson is expected to play one of the aforementioned assassins alongside Pitt and King.
