‘Daddy Daughter Day’ by Jeff Bridges and Isabelle Bridges-Boesch Now Available!

Acting legend Jeff Bridges has returned, this time with a brand new book, created with his eldest daughter Isabelle Bridges-Boesch. Titled Daddy Daughter Day, the duo brings a heartwarming story about a daughter and father who embark on a series of adventures together on Daddy Daughter Day. Together, they “turn the house and the backyard into a clay work shop, a beauty parlor, and even a circus, with Mom and little brother Sammie getting involved!”

In a statement to Dark Horse Comics, Jeff Bridges said:

Why do we need reasons for doing something so wonderful and important as spending time with the ones we love? I don’t know, but we often seem to need a reason. Need a reason? ‘Daddy Daughter Day’ gives us a wonderful one.

Isabelle Bridges-Boesch stated:

I had the idea for this book for years. After I became a mom, I decided to write a book about having a day of adventures with my father when I was a little girl. When I finally shared the idea for the book with my dad, he immediately agreed to create the illustrations and the making of the book became our latest adventure.

The picture book is now available for purchase here, just in time to celebrate Daddy Daughter Day on October 11. The story is written by Isabelle, illustrated by Jeff.
