‘Parks and Recreation’ Finds Its New Streaming Home

If you missed your chance to finish watching (or rewatching) Parks and Recreation while it was on Netflix and Hulu, never fear! Peacock, a new streaming service from NBC, has made all episodes of their comedy series available to watch on the platform. And the best part? IT’S FREE.

Parks and Recreation ran for seven seasons from 2009-2015 on NBC. It followed Leslie Knope — the Deputy Director of the Parks and Rec department in Pawnee, IN — as she set out to create a new park from an abandoned lot. Along the way, her and her fellow coworkers worked to make Pawnee a better (and more beautiful) place to live. In April 2020, the cast reunited for a special episode to benefit COVID-19 relief.
