Good news! Warrior Nun was renewed for season two on Netflix. When Netflix announced the renewal to the cast, showrunner Simon Barry starts the video with him asking their favorite memory before phrasing the exciting news in a question, surprising them.

The series is based on the comic book character Warrior Nun Areala created by Ben Dunn. The first season, which was 10 episodes long, follows 19-year-old Ava (Alba Baptista) after she wakes up in the morgue with a divine artifact embedded in her back. Now with superpowers, she fights demons and forces of evil as the chosen Halo Bearer for, wait for it, demon-hunting nuns.

Warrior Nun features Alba Baptista, Toya Turner, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Lorena Andrea, Tristán Ulloa, Thekla Reuten, and more. You can watch the trailer for the first season below.
