‘American Idol’ Going on a Virtual ‘Idol Across America’ Audition Tour

Ever want to audition for American Idol? Virtual auditions will be happening across the United States starting August 10 and run until September 9. They will occur in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Idol hopefuls will sign up for an audition on the date of their choosing and will meet with a producer via a Zoom meeting. The producers will then offer feedback to help them on their American Idol journey.

Auditions will start in Delaware, Florida, and Ohio on August 10 and will finish up with Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Vermont on September 9. August 17 and August 25 are open call auditions for every eligible contestant.

The schedule for audition dates is:

  • Delaware, Florida, Ohio – August 10
  • Louisiana, Missouri, Wisconsin – August 12
  • Arizona, Oregon, Washington – August 14
  • Georgia, Maryland, D.C, Rhode Island – August 16
  • Open Auditions – August 17
  • Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas – August 18
  • Idaho, New Mexico, Utah – August 20
  • Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas – August 22
  • Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia – August 24
  • Open Auditions – August 25
  • Iowa, Mississippi, Oklahoma – August 26
  • Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota – August 28
  • Connecticut, New Jersey, New York – August 30
  • Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming – September 1
  • Maine, South Carolina, West Virginia – September 3
  • Alaska, California, Hawai’i – September 5
  • Kentucky, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania – September 7
  • Massachusetts, North Carolina, Vermont – September 9
