With what would have been the theatrical release of Bill & Ted Face the Music just weeks away, Orion Pictures has announced that fans will now have a choice about how to watch the film and able to make the one that is most comfortable to them. The film has rescheduled its release several times over the last few months and with production companies taking the safety of fans into account due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bill & Ted Face the Music will release on demand and in theaters September 1.

In the new trailer released today, it teases the duo once again on their journey through time to create the greatest song ever written to fulfill their destiny, This time, however, Ted suggests that they just steal it from their future selves. Meanwhile, Billie Logan (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and Thea Preston (Samara Weaving) embark on their own adventure to recruit band members from across time to help their dads. And of course, naturally, Death is playing hopscotch (and cheating).
