Tonight, on a very special episode of Clone High…
The names Phil Lord (Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse), Christopher Miller (The LEGO Movie), and Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) are well known in the movie and television world. But back in 2002 to 2003 on MTV, they had a one-season wonder called Clone High. Well, MTV is updating and bringing it back.
Lord, Miller, and Lawrence are going to create new episodes of the satire adult animated show. Fret not, Abraham Lincoln, Cleopatra, JFK, Joan of Arc, and more will be returning with no doubt some new historical figures. It was 13 episodes before it got canceled and then released on DVD, but only for Canada. The series followed various historical figures brought back as clones exploring the high school and coming of age as teen clones.
The show featured the voice talents of Will Forte, Christa Miller, Nicole Sullivan, Andy Dick, Neil Flynn, Donald Faison, and more. There were also guest appearances by Jack Black, Tom Green, Mandy Moore, Michael J. Fox, Luke Perry, John Stamos, and Marilyn Manson. We will have to see who will be voicing the characters in the revival and if there will be any guests.
It leaves me wondering if they will address the cliff hanger at the end of season 1. They were all frozen before we could hear what Abe was going to say to Joan. I mean, she slept with JFK at the Winter Prom!
